Island hopping week is for you to explore the lifestyle of different islands in the Maldives while experiencing nature to the fullest. This week also includes your visit to one of the luxury island resorts in the Maldives and to enjoy a full day.
In this week, you will explore the Hulhumale Island which is one of the main islands in the Maldives which is also the location of our accommodation. Hulhumale is a peaceful residential island with golden beaches stretching just a few steps away from your accommodation.
Male is the capital and the busiest city of the Maldives. You will explore the city and visit places of interest and also souvenir shops if you want to take back some gifts for your loved ones at home.
On Wednesday, you will take a ferry ride to visit one of the residential islands called Biligili Island. You can walk around the island; explore the island life of the residents. You will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Thursday is for your dream visit to one of the luxury island resorts in the Maldives. You will take a boat ride to the resort where you will spend the whole day at the resort and then have a special buffet lunch.
Friday is for the Beach. And we will join the beach cleaning project in Hulhumale and then you can spend the entire day at the beach and do various activities at extra cost which are available at the beach.

Welcome and Explore Hulhumale
Today, after breakfast, you will be welcomed and introduced to your program for the week. You will get information about the culture of the Maldives, safety tips, dos and don’ts.
After lunch, you will have free time and in the evening you will do a walking tour on Hulhumale Island. Hulhumale Island is one of the main islands in the Maldives which is also the location of our accommodation. Hulhumale is a peaceful residential island with golden beaches stretching just a few steps away from your accommodation. You can explore the island and get to know the services and places which will help you to move around during your stay. You will visit the markets, ferry jetty and the central park. You will come back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Male – The capital
Tuesday is for you to explore the City of Male: The capital of the Maldives, Male is the busiest city. You will explore the city and visit places of interest and also souvenir shops if you want to take back some gifts for your loved ones at home.
Biligili Island – Local Residential Island
Today, you will take a scenic ferry ride to visit one of the residential islands called Biligili Island. You can walk around the island and explore the island life of the residents. You will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Resort Island – One from your bucket list!
Thursday is for your dream visit to one of the luxury island resorts in the Maldives. You will take a boat ride to the resort where you will spend the whole day with the special buffet lunch at the resort. Enjoy the golden beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, take the pictures in the gorgeous picture perfect backgrounds, taste a delicious lunch, sit back and enjoy the sunshine!
Beach Cleaning and Leisure!
Friday is for the Beach. You will actively participate in our beach cleaning project in Hulhumale and then you can spend the rest of the day at the beach and if you wish you can do various activities at extra cost which are available at the beach.

This little artificial island located in the Kaafu Atoll in Maldives was created with the vision of transforming it to an urban city which would be a haven for the increasing population of the country. At present, it is one of the best locations of the country providing higher standards of living to its residents. Another reason for the popularity of this island is due to its close proximity to the capital of Maldives, Male. Hence, you will be able to buy most of the things that are required for you to have a great time during your stay in Maldives.
You will be accommodated in our center which is few meters away from the ocean. A refrigerator will also be there to place extra food/ beverages that you want to store.
The meals would mainly include typical Maldivian food. Purified water will also be available throughout your stay.
Hulhumale city has super markets where you will be able to buy most of the things you may require. In addition, ATMs are also available for you to withdraw money.

In Hulhumale, some of the famous sights visited by the tourists are the newly reclaimed area and the heritage island where you can visit the Central park and the BBQ area.
In Male city, you can visit the Rasfannu beach, the fish market, the local market Sultan Park and the Museum and the Islamic Center.

The Republic of Maldives is a chain of islands located in the Indian Ocean. Compared to other South Asian countries, Maldives is the smallest, and spans around ninety thousand square kilometers. It also bears the smallest population among the Asian countries. Maldivians mainly practice Islam. Even the legal system of the country is shaped by their practice of Islam.
Due to the stretch of atolls, Maldives is also considered as one of the most dispersed countries in the world. It has a total of 26 atolls. Maldives has a tropical monsoon climate. That being said, the climate in Maldives can be divided into two main weather patterns namely, dry and wet seasons. Even though the weather is categorized into two seasons, the temperature throughout the year changes very little. However, the dry season exists from January to around April.
Due to the proximity of this country to South India and Sri Lanka, the culture of Maldives has been influenced by the cultural patterns of these two countries. Particularly, music and dancing has been influenced by India and language has been influenced by Sri Lanka to a certain extent. During the month of May or June, Maldivians celebrate the Ramzan festival. The actual dates and the time of the festival may vary depending on the Islamic lunar calendar. This is the largest religious festival celebrated in Maldives. This festival spans for 30 days and during this time all Muslim citizens fast during the day. During this festival they celebrate the revelation of the Quran to prophet Muhammad by God.
Maldives gained independence from the British on the 26th July, 1965. Since then, Maldivians celebrate their independence day marked by parades and national events.
In the month of September, Maldivians celebrate a festival named Eid-ul Al’haa which is also named as the festival of sacrifice. The actual date on which the festival is celebrated may vary depending on the calendar.
Seaplanes are one of the quick and easiest ways to travel to resorts from the airport.
Travelling from island to another can easily be done by one of the speed boats or ferries.
Taxis are available in the major cities where a good network of roads is available.
In the main city there is a bus service which operates every 30 minutes to take you around.
